The Family Parties are usually our weekends where we all dine together at one hotel and enjoy various Mexican and European cuisine together. It's a lot of fun. The way the Parties work is that the top two finishers get to go to the weekend buffet. And there's usually a max of four of each of us, so unless you've got a really good, deep, special plan for me, it's hard to get back to work. And even if there is a plan, it's not always going to work out. The Best of the Party If you're invited, who doesn't go? The funny thing is, nobody knows about the plan.

Everybody plays their part, but nobody knows where to expect, or what to expect. The party doesn't start for two weeks before the first weekend. We get togethers, usually at my place, and plan, as best we think we can work out, something for everyone. And there are a lot of benefits to be had from being invited to a private, fun Family Party. So I invite my friends and we all head to the local Restaurant. We go for breakfast, and usually go for coffee or something to eat. When I'm ready to go, I invite my boss, usually after a drink or two. It's a lot of fun, hanging out with my friends and getting to know a few of the new faces. Usually the new arrivals are cute and cuddly, but there's a wicked streak in them that makes my stomach turn. We usually stay for a dinner, or a couple of drinks. It's a lot of fun, meeting new people and making new friends. If there is a "good" person on the list who can't or won't do a good job for any of the demands placed upon them by their new masters, I usually go to that person's house and leave a message. It's usually the "good" person's fault. It's the "good" person's fault. There have been times in my life when I've been desperate enough to do something just to have my heart broken. Those times have, in fact, been the exception rather than the rule..
